The year has just begun and at Maglificio Pini we are finalising preparations for the first event: the appointment is in Florence with Pitti Filati, from January 25th to 27th.
The theme of Pitti Filati 92 is PITTIWAY: pop and street atmospheres come together in perfect symbiosis, conquering the spaces of Pitti Immagine’s January fair. In a world where uncertainty appears dominant, movement is seen as a common factor that binds individuals and their choices, between speedings and brakings, stimuli of all kinds and paths to take. Every sense is involved and the new digital tools, from algorithms to biometric identities, complete an evolving present. In this multiform universe, Pitti Filati becomes a compass to intercept and define the new directions to be explored, a genuine signpost towards the future.
Thus, following this inspiration, Maglificio Pini’s stand hosts a stimulating and multifaceted reflection, balanced between the values of tradition, rooted in the roots in the art of knitwear, and the drive towards the future, thanks to state-of-the-art technologies, research on materials, new use of fabrics and a constant focus on a conscious use of resources.
At the Fortezza, in particular, we will present the new collection by Maglificio Pini, which on one hand tries to provide unprecedented suggestions, and on the other shows off skill and mastery of complex workmanship, to be touched and observed in every detail. We started from the inspiration for 19th century corsetry, embarking on a path of body liberation and progress, embracing sporty and casuals alongside the sophisticated elegance of bygone days. There is no lack of our expertise, emerging in the use of stitches, decorations, contrasting materials.
