It’s time for Pitti Filati, it’s time to return to Fortezza da Basso, in Florence: we are waiting for you from June 29th to July 1st, 2022 at the Knit Club, with our collection and… a game with prizes!
Maglificio Pini’s summer season begins with a wonderful announcement: we are back to the origins, back to the Fortezza! The next edition of Pitti Filati, which will see us as protagonists from June 29th to July 1st, 2022, will in fact be held in the historic venue in Florence, Fortezza da Basso, after the previous fairs at the Stazione Leopolda.
The theme of the new Research Space immediately catches the eye: INTOTHEWILD.
“We live in a wild age. Gilded, but wild. Blessed with all comforts, but wild. The age of progress and performance, but wild,’ says the organization.
Our own collection, which we will be presenting at the Fair and which intercepts the FW23 trends, hark back to this: the juxtaposition of worlds that comes to life in everyday life, the delicate balance between technology and inner well-being, between comfortable garments and sophisticated shapes, between spirit and matter.
Materials are at the heart of experimentation: for our garments, we have used, alongside wool, shiny stretch viscoses, technical yarns and recycled cashmere blends. This last point, in particular, is especially close to us, as it allows us to continue reflecting on our role, and the role of the entire fashion supply chain, with respect towards the environment and with a conscious use of resources. This is why our synergy with the Research and Development department is now consolidated and indispensable and accompanies us step by step, alongside the commitment evidenced by our certifications.
Last, but certainly not least, one last consideration: our collection features menswear too. Gender differences, as well as occasions of use, are blurred, fits are soft and oversized cuts play with silhouettes that emphasize body shapes.
