The new year for Maglificio Pini opens, as usual, in Florence. Pitti Filati is not just an event marked on the calendar: it is a place for meeting, exchange, and careful observation of what knitwear represents today and what it may become tomorrow. The 98th edition, held at the Fortezza da Basso from January 21 to 23, 2026, marks a change compared to the past, the result of a conscious decision to adopt a new perspective, without giving up on presence.
Where to find Maglificio Pini at Pitti Filati 98?
This year Maglificio Pini will not take part as an exhibitor at the KnitClub, so our stand will not be on the map. We will still be present at the fair with the same energy that has always distinguished us.
Representing the company will be Lucia and Martina, together with the Account Management team, who will meet yarn mills, long-standing clients and new contacts, explore the latest developments in the sector, and gather insights and inspiration for upcoming projects.
Our participation, however, is not measured solely in terms of meetings and conversations—stimulating as they may be—but also, and inevitably, through our creations.
Maglificio Pini creations at Filati Be.Mi.Va. and at the Spazio Tendenze
The presence of Maglificio Pini at Pitti Filati will be conveyed through what, more than anything else, tells our story. Over the past months, our work has focused on creating a number of special looks, designed to translate into sight and touch what happens when raw materials, technical expertise, and artisanal experience come together.
Three of these looks will be displayed at the Filati Be.Mi.Va stand, with whom we have renewed our collaboration: this is proof that a shared vision and a solid relationship can translate into high-level results.
In addition, a project created using knit fabrics produced by Maglificio Pini, and selected by the curators of the Pitti Filati “Research Area”, will be presented within the Spazio Tendenze, in a context that brings together research, creativity, technique, and interpretation of the present.
We are also proud to mention the Pini Archive, our creative memory: it has always been the lens through which we observe trends and interpret the future of knitwear, and it is always accessible digitally and represents a starting point for ideas and inspiration.
